FLYING OINTMENT! by Amanita Lloydii

I just finished (finally) my favorite and most interesting blend of shamanic plant teachers from the poison path. It is designed to help take one  into the astral plane and induce lucid dreams. Of course it is mainly comprised of baneful herbs without which it wouldn't be worth talking about. But those baneful herbs are also healers, relaxants, calmatives and pain and anxiety relievers. It also contains a number of tonic, healing and spirit protection plants to help bring one back if one strays too far in those realms

I am absolutely confident that this is the most authentic to the ancient flying ointments of legend and truly, the most potent, active and effective available ANYWHERE.

Its my most potent blend to date containing beneficial plants, both baneful as well as tonic, including the sacred to Lord Shiva (and myself) datura inoxia, datura stramonium, brugmansia, henbane, wormwood, mugwort, Amanitas Muscaria and pantherina, balm of gilead (extracted by me) peppermint, lavender, ; yarrow, and poppy. Many are included for relaxing, calming, easing pain and magical properties. 

The witches, (the words witch and wizard meaning wise), back in the days when being a plant medicine practitioner could get you burned at the stake by one of the few real evils on this planet, the Roman church (Empire) and their pedophile pope (Caesar), rather than risk traveling overland to meet with their colleagues, would use flying ointment to fly to these meetings. But as with all things, an understanding of symbolism and esoteric language reveals deeper hidden truth and meaning. 

To begin with, the recipes for flying ointment were fairly extensive lists of nearly every poisonous and drug plant to be found. This was meant to keep the foolish or the uninitiated out of business better left to those who had the eyes to see and the ears to hear. Compiling all of these plants into one wort and using it would very likely be either more than most would dare, since as we see with Amanitas, most are too afraid of these plants to even touch them, much less gather and blend them with the intention of using them on themselves. If they did they would likely end up dead and there'd be one less fool. But a bit of knowing and one can see that it isn't the list of ingredients for the ointment. But a list of possible ingredients if one knows the secrets of the use of these plants. Secrets that sometimes only the plants themselves can teach. 

So, we all know the image of the green skinned witch flying on a broomstick. More symbolism. If one makes ointment out of plants and rubs it on one's skin. Theoretically it could turn the skin green. Solanacea plants like datura, henbane, belladonna or mandrake contain atropine, scopolamine and hyosciamine. Under the influence of these tropane alkaloids it can look from ones perspective as if one is looking down on things from above or flying. They can make one feel the sensation of flight too. 

But oral consumption of these plants can be dangerous and can lead to not only frightening trips and hallucinations. But they can last for days or weeks or one can go permanently insane.

Oddly if one is already off the deep end for some reason, these plants that can cause insanity can sometimes actually bring one back to the world of pulling out one's hair for the regular reasons.

These plants, although sacred, important and useful are still potentially deadly baneful herbs of the poison path. Respect, knowledge and wisdom are key and oral  consumption of these plants can also lead to death. But when they are used transdermaly, the skin filters out the more dangerous atropine, and lets the hypnotic scopolamine through. 

Being made like every other thing in existence, from consciousness, they appreciate the gift of approaching them gently, with silence of mind. With  wonder and appreciation at their beauty. Heart open to their gifts that can be every bit as healing as they can be harmful.  They are night blooming flowers of Hecates night garden and in that silence they speak to us with subtle voices that may only be realized in a moment of sudden understanding of synergy with another plant to induce therapeutic action that was unknown to you moments before. Knowing how to handle a plant in a new way that helps the plants gifts be more readily accessed. A humble and grateful ease of being as one moves through the natural world that these energies inhabit can even see the triplers, the thorn covered, hindering and sometimes painful, hat steeling, ankle ripping, blood letting vines let one pass easily without molestation or new perforations and with all of your scarves and other items still in one's possession. Gratitude is everything when interacting with the natural or etheric world and the energies that can influence miraculous uplifting healing action or lend themselves to unhappy and shocking falls into physical, emotional or psycho-spiritual dis-ease, despair and disillusion that can be very difficult, confusing or even fatal. With the natural world and the energies and gifts there-in, Love and respect tempered by wisdom are essential and returned. 

I stand by my Flying Ointment as with all the gifts I may offer that come from the natural world, through me to you, be it mushrooms. Herbs, medicinal preparations or items of any sort, as well as knowledge. This Flying Ointment is safe for all to use as intended. I find it useful for a growing number of things from spiritual, emotional, physical and metaphysical applications like lucid dreaming, nerve, joint, rheumatoid and other pain. Even broken bone and surgery pains. Skin conditions, Anxiety, PTSD and mood elevation. As reported from you guys. And is wonderful in intimate situations, for which I believe it's foremost action is best displayed.  Which brings me to the other part of the story about the green witch flying on her broomstick.

When applying ointment made from solanacea plants, it is best and most effective applied to areas of thin skin. Areas where hair grows but may work better shaved. Like those friars with shaved scalp and a ring of hair to keep entheogenic oils from dripping into their eyes as it soaked into the freshly shakes scalp.. Other places of optimum application would be places of concentrations of veins, arteries, capillaries and mucous membranes. The ultimate place being private, intimate, sensual areas like one's bottom or especially between The legs and inner thighs. It's said that the ancient wise one's would amount a chair and sit bare bottomed on it to soak in the magical ointment. And for a solitary female practitioner, it's just possible that to apply this witches salve to areas of optimum absorption,  a broomstick just might serve as an applicator. Or if she has a male mate, then he becomes the broomstick and they apply the ointment to one another and fly together. 

One thing, although oral ingestion of these herbs can possibly be troublesome, there is nothing to worry about as far as. Intimate settings and any every witch way resulting in the ingestion of the ointment orally. It has been tried and tested and retested and proven to not present any problems, even if more than is actually very pleasant has somehow managed to thoroughly lubricate, anoint and moisturize all parts concerned. 

  Now for something unexpected and potentially very very cool and even ground breaking. At least for this age. In truth I was shocked when it left me with no choice but to look at the witches claims of old that it was possible to have group meetings with one another in the astral or dream realms with the ointment as the catalyst and keys to the broomstick. After applying the ointment liberally before sleep I had a dream that was very strange and surreal wherein I was performing some working involving a cauldron. I was behind a veil in some sort of rustic fair and could see through my own eyed as well as through the eyes of people watching me. There were other details that were pertinent but can be left out of this telling. But to get to the point. One special member of our wonderful group here happened to be there in this dreamlike episode, although thousands of miles away and without even a text for a few weeks. When I woke. I had a message from that person describing to me exactly, in every detail the same identical experience that I had had in this dream, trance or astral realm, but from their perspective, of course.

This indicates that we may really truly, With this ointment that the plants directed the creation of, be able to really meet with one another on the astral plane an just as the ancient wise women And wort-cunners said that they did.
