The Job Offer I Received

I'll tell this story then I'm off to bed. Supposedly.

Monica calls today not long after I finished breakfast, of ex-champions... cocopuffs. Yummy. She's around the corner (why do people do that? It annoys me) and wants her friend's iPad back. She had asked me to update it. I couldn't. it was the original one from 2010 and it was as upgraded as it would go. It wasn't playing porn. I didn't know that. But I hadn't been able  to update it or well it wasn't upgradeable so I had filled it with books, movies, tv shows and audiobooks. One album. a comedy album by Garfunkel and Oates. Had I known it was just for porn I could have filled it up with that, but I didn't so he got movies and media instead. Anyway, on my way out the door to give it back to her, I got stopped by the building manager, Katie. Two things she said.

Okay. two things. The first she said was that between 1pm and 4pm my floor was going to be off limits. I could be in my room or out of it but not on the floor as it was going to be painted or something. Work was going to be going on and I wasn't to disturb it. NO problem I said. I have a dentist appointment at 1:40pm, so I'll leave early and be gone 'til 4pm. that seemed okay.

Number two. she said I have an offer for you, don't feel obligated but if you want, I have a job for you. It doesn't pay much, just $250-300 per month. But you also aren't really expected to work. "What you talking about Willis?" Her coworker jumps in "Its an RA position." (Let me mansplain it to you. teeheehee. RA stands for resident advisor of a dorm) My ears perked up. I said, I think I can do the job but it may prove to the social security department that I'm able to work, and that may be evidence that I don't need disability. Plus, i said, every dollar I earn is a dollar they take away. So I would essentially be donating my time for free. I left and went to go outside to return the iPad to Monica, who had just called me, impatient. I hadn't answered.

We spoke briefly and I told her of my declination of the job offer. She informed me that when her mom was on disability that she was able to make about $300 and it wasn't deducted from her disability check and that they didn't and wouldn't use it against the disability recipient. My ears perked for the second time in 15 minutes. ORLY? This is good news I said. I believed her. And it meant I could have some extra income. Money i could use to get my sushi fix. $300 is 6 sushi meals. Thats one per week. every week of the month plus extra. I went inside to tel Katie of the news. I said I'd get back to her once I double checked my information. I'll do that this week.

Thats my job offer story. I'll take it if it doesn't affect my disability check. They said all it entailed was pushing the door entry button to open the door when someone came to it. And that was only going to happen if three other people had been unable to make it to work. I am going to get paid to be on call. Porn doesnt do it anymore but that gives me a hard on.

Thats it. Oh I placed an album's lyrics on one page. i dont expect you'll really care. Its an album I really like. One that I played when my relationship with my second domme was falling apart in late 2015. "Got Your Six" by Five Finger Death Punch. Eventually, i'll flush it out it with videos of the songs too. But maybe not right now. I also took that lost post about my divorce and placed it up.
